Welcome! Are you just beginning? Are you an expert? Do you already know what you’re looking for or are you looking for info?
We can follow two paths. Yet, if it doesn’t bore you, let’s pretend we don’t know anything and start from the beginning. It may seem like a longer route but we won’t get lost in shapes and models that will not suit your needs.
Let’s play a game
Stand barefoot and upright with your heels against the wall and let’s measure your foot and look at its shape. With centimeters we orient ourselves to the size, with the shape to the model.
Now, what is your ability? Your climbing style? How is your finger strength? Can you pull hand-foot matches like those iconic photos from the ‘80s?
Now try this: face the wall and raise one foot up, hip open sideways pretending to “load” imaginary holds with your feet. The curve that describes the foot as it rises is also the shape that the foot takes to grip and push on foot holds.
Essentially, the higher the range of motion required for the routes you climb, the more you are able to take advantage of down-turned and asymmetrical shapes.
WildClimb uses 4 distinct shapes based on 4 climbing styles. Simple and effective.

Size
Our sizing chart comes from the feedback of experienced climbers, you know, those with the famous callus that stands proudly on the big toe. Yet, we know sizing is individual to each climber and cannot be generalized, so we recommend you find your size by actually trying on different models and sizes.
Free yourself from the stereotype that correlates performance with pain and find the shoe that fits your foot rather than forcing your foot into a shoe. We design shoes that perform in comfort without overly constricting your foot. Downsizing too much will just limit the design of the shoe.
For example, the BAT employs a “relaxed fit” construction with low volume at the toes and it fits better a half size up from normal whereas the Dagara is very soft, which means you can fit in a much smaller shoe than normal, yet under sizing this shoe would limit it’s ability to flex as it was designed and reduce performance!

Shape and materials
DAGARA and GRIP are designed to work well over the intermediate range of motion. BAT, with its flat platform, is focused on footwork close to the center of gravity and on the vertical plain. SKY & GLADIATOR wrap the foot in its natural position.
Each shoe is built using the same performance elastic microfibers and rubbers, so to choose a shoe, you have to think about your climbing ability, your style and your strengths.
WildClimb shoes are simple and straight forward climbing tools to help you build up your climbing. Our shoes accompany you through the grades as your ability to use your feet for performance progresses.
